If a strategy is stopped by Capitalise.ai, you’ll receive a notification letting you know.

Here are the three most common reasons for a strategy being stopped:

1. Too Many Triggers

If your strategy attempts too many triggers within a short period, it will be stopped to prevent excessive activity.

This typically occurs when more than 4 triggers are attempted within 15 seconds.

2. Technical Issues on the Capitalise.ai Platform

Sometimes, a technical issue on our end may cause a strategy to stop.

If you receive this type of message, we recommend reaching out to our Customer Support team so we can investigate and provide clarity.

3. Technical Issues from Your Brokerage

If your broker encounters a technical issue while executing an order, your strategy may stop as a result.

You’ll see a message with a brief explanation of the issue on your strategy card.

If your strategy was stopped due to a technical issue, you won’t be able to restart it directly. In that case, you’ll need to clone the strategy in order to run it again.

If you’re unsure why your strategy stopped, feel free to contact our Customer Support Centre - we’re happy to help.
