To keep track of the funds needed to run your strategies, head over to My Strategies. There, you’ll find a breakdown of your total buying power and buying power per strategy.

Understanding Buying Power

On Capitalise.ai, buying power is categorized into two types:

1. Total Buying Power

  • A hypothetical estimate of the funds (in USD) required to run all your strategies if they were to trigger.

  • Helps you understand the maximum capital your strategies might need at any given time.

  • Note: This does not include simulation or “email me” strategies.

2. Buying Power in Use

  • A real-time calculation of the actual funds (in USD) currently in use by live strategies that have already entered positions.

Buying Power per Strategy

You can also view the buying power required for each individual strategy:

  • Total Buying Power per Strategy: The amount needed to open all positions defined in your entry conditions.

  • Buying Power in Use per Strategy: The amount currently being used by the strategy for open trades.

Important Notes

  • Buying power is only calculated after a live strategy has triggered an entry.

  • If none of your live strategies have triggered, your buying power will display as $0.
