To see how much buying power is required to run your strategies, look under My Strategies. There, you’ll see a summary of your buying power as an investor on the Capitalise platform, as well as your buying power per strategy.

Within our platform, buying power is grouped into two categories: in use and total.

The total buying power is a hypothetical assessment of funds. It calculates funds needed, in USD, for all your strategies to trigger and run successfully.

The buying power in use, on the other hand, is an actual assessment of funds. It sums up the funds being used by strategies you’re currently running.

Bear in mind that the total buying power does not include funds allocated toward simulation strategies or "email me" strategies.

You can also look at your buying power per strategy.

When we’re talking about buying power per strategy, the total buying power calculates the funds needed, in USD, for all positions in your entry strategy to open. Here, the buying power in use is the USD sum currently being used by your strategy.

Buying power is only calculated once a live strategy has triggered an entry. If all your live trades are working on their respective entries with no entry triggers having taken place, the buying power will be displayed as $0.
